You can choose how much access each admin has within your Caribou account. Some admins may need full access to everything, while others might only need visibility into certain sections.
Full Access Admins
The Full Access setting gives an admin unrestricted access to all areas of your account. When this toggle is turned on, that admin can:
-
View and edit every section (Jobs, Candidates, Employees, Redemptions, Recognition Points, and Administrators)
-
Access account-level settings and manage other admins
-
Perform all actions without any restrictions
When “Full Access” is enabled, individual checkboxes for permissions are automatically disabled since all permissions are already granted.
When to use it:
Give Full Access to senior leaders, agency owners, or anyone responsible for managing your entire rewards program.
Restricted Access Admins
If you don’t want to grant full access, you can customize permissions for each admin individually.
How to Access Permissions
-
Go to Admins in your admin dashboard.
-
Find the admin whose access you’d like to adjust.
-
Click the Edit Permissions button beside the name.
Understanding the Permissions Table
Each row represents a section in your account, and each column defines what the admin can do.
| Section | What it allows | If “Edit” is enabled |
|---|---|---|
| Jobs | View job postings created by your agency. | Admin can create or update job listings. |
| Candidates | Track candidates as they move through the hiring process. | Admin can edit candidate stages and update statuses. |
| Redemptions | View redemption requests and their status. | Admin can mark requests as sent to payroll (if using payroll redemptions). |
| Recognition Points | View recognition activity. | Admin can send custom messages and recognition points to employees. When enabled, two extra options appear: • Override default category amounts • Override budget |
| Employees | View and search for existing employees. | Admin can add new employees to start earning points and sharing jobs. |
| Administrators | View all existing admins. | Admin can add or remove administrators and manage their access levels. |
Saving Changes
Once you’ve made updates, click Save at the bottom of the modal.
Changes take effect immediately for that admin.
