Who is Carrie? And why is she calling me?
Carrie is your agency's virtual assistant!
Carrie calls you when she has an open shift you would be a good fit for. She wants to make sure your schedule stays full so you always have work!
Tell her if you are interested in all shifts or just specific days.
Does Carrie assign the shift to me right after the call?
No. Carrie will call you to see if you are interested and available first. Carrie then brings interested caregivers to her Coordinator. The Coordinator will assign a caregiver.
Once you have been assigned to a shift (or not assigned), Carrie will text you to let you know.
Is Carrie a real person? How do I talk to her?
No. Carrie is a virtual assistant, but you can speak to her like a Coordinator, just please be patient!
She will have open shifts to offer you. You can say things like “Yes, I’m interested” or “I can only work the shift on Friday afternoon”.
You can also ask her questions about the case like “Does the patient have pets?”
Do I have to answer the call?
If you want more work, pick up the call! It is the best and fastest way to get more work.
I still have questions, who do I ask?
