How do I access the rewards program?
To access the rewards program, head to rewards.caribou.care!
All messages from your agency's rewards program will come as an email or SMS which will also includes a link or button that takes you to your rewards homepage. You can also bookmark it if you prefer!
Do I have to download an app on my phone?
No! Your agency rewards program is a web app so you do not have to download anything. The app can be opened on any web browser on your phone (e.g. Chrome or Safari) or on your computer. You can save the web app to your phone as well. You can find detailed instructions at this link here.
Recognition
What can I receive recognition rewards for?
Your agency wants to appreciate you for all the great things that you do! You may receive recognition rewards for things like picking up a shift, providing exceptional care for clients, and going above and beyond. Reach out to your agency for a list of all recognition categories!
How do I claim my recognition points?
When you earn recognition points, you will receive an email or SMS. When you click on the link, you will be prompted to click “Claim my Points”. You can find detailed instructions at this link here.
Points
How do I redeem my points?
Redeem your points by clicking on the ‘Redeem’ button next to your points balance (found at the top right corner in your agency's Rewards app). You can find detailed instructions at this link here.
Where can I see how many points I have?
Your point balance is found at the top right corner of your agency's rewards program homepage. The homepage can be accessed by looking up any communications sent by your agency's Rewards program and clicking on the link provided. If you have challenges finding your link, reach out to an admin at your agency and they can re-send it!
When I reach my points balance, do I have to redeem right away?
No! If you want to wait until you have earned more points, you can bank your points and redeem when ready.
How do I earn points for referrals?
If your agency offers this option, you will earn points at various milestones leading up to your referrals’ work anniversary. For example, you may get instant rewards just for sharing the job posting with your friend. You may also earn points when your referral applies.
Do my visits count towards my points total?
Depending on your agency, clocking in and out for your visits may reward you with points, draw/raffle tickets, or a combination of both. Please reach out to your agency directly, or take a look in your Rewards app, for more information on what your agency provides.
Referrals
How do I share a job posting?
When you go into your agency's rewards program account, you will see a section called “Share Jobs”. Click on this page to see all the positions your agency needs help filling. Look for a posting you would like to share with a referral and click on 'Share Job'. You can then copy the invitation and share it with them via a text message. You can find detailed instructions at this link here.
If I refer a friend, will I lose shifts?
Your agency may be looking for additional staff to help even more clients. New hires will not affect existing employees’ shifts. It will only help more clients receive the care they need!
What if I don’t have friends or family that are qualified?
Your agency rewards program allows participating employees to share through various methods such as text messages, WhatsApp, and email. Even if you don’t have anyone in mind, we encourage you to share to a group on Facebook, WhatsApp, or other social media platforms to reach a larger number of people (if someone else applies using your link, you will still earn points!)
What if I don’t use social media?
No problem! You can still share job postings directly with those in your network over text message or email.
What if my referral doesn’t use my unique link?
If an employee referral does not come in through your agency's rewards program, let your supervisor or coordinator or hiring team know as soon as possible to make sure points can be allocated appropriately to reward your recruitment efforts.
How do I know if my referral has been hired?
Your agency rewards program makes tracking all of your referrals easy by sending you automated emails and text messages as your referral progresses through the hiring process. You can also follow along with all of your referrals in the web app under the jobs page by clicking on “My Referrals”
What about the referral I made last year/month?
You cannot get rewards through your agency's rewards program for any referrals that happened in the past.
